He Is The Resurrection
Treated with contempt,
Ridiculed, beaten,
Slandered, insulted, and reviled
At a place called Golgotha
People stood calming watching
As He drank the cup of sorrow
Baptized with our suffering
Abandoned by our sins
Yet He yielded up His spirit.
And as the darkness fell upon the earth
The temple veil was torn
The earth cried out with quakes
He is the Resurrection
He is Eternal Life.
Believe in Him and though you die
You shall arise again
He is the Resurrection
He is Eternal Life.
He is the Resurrection
He is Eternal Life.
