Greetings in Jesus!
With this issue comes the spring season. As we spring forward in time, we look forward to seeing he signs of spring: new flowers, new creatures, newness all around. I am looking forward to new things, and letting the things of old stay behind me. One of the new things that is happening is the shift of the publishing company going from a “business” to a
non-profit ministry. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for this ministry. It’s a new beginning.

Speaking of new beginnings, Nancy Napolitano is still on her break, and will be ready to return to her “New Beginnings” column with the next issue. Enjoy your rest, Nancy.

I hope you enjoy this issue as much as I enjoyed putting it all together. Here’s looking forward to a new season and new beginnings.

Happy Reading!

I just found your magazine for the first time through Hopekeepers website. There certainly is an abundance of great information and quality resources. One concern I have is concerning the several pictures of scantily clad women. In God’s Word, the Bible, we are instructed as Christians to be modest in our appearance in order not to cause others to stumble. I consider these photos to be adult in nature and not appropriate for children or others who struggle with the temptation of pornography. I would really like to recommend this online resource to others but cannot and will not in good conscience do so. Please consider that your Christian magazine represents Jesus Christ and ask if He is honored by the publication of such photos. Thank you for your kind attention.

Thank you for you opinion. Now, for mine, we are very careful in selecting all content for the magazine, and most of these “scantily clothed” women are up on stage competing in bodybuilding/fitness, etc. competitions–and they do it all for the Glory of God! These ladies are Christians who are not afraid to blaze a trail of righteousness in this world right through an arena that most of us will never even see, much less consider. They are awesome and I am proud to show our readers who they are in Christ.

You see a lot more skin down at the beach then you do in our magazine. Also, I find it a little amusing that you make no mention of our “scantilly clothed” men who are blazing their own trails for Jesus. :)
